Aitchison Raffety to Provide Energy Performance Certificates Aitchison Raffety has become one of the few commercial property consultants able to carry out energy performance certification of buildings prior to their sale or the granting of a new lease.

“We can now offer clients a complete package when it comes to marketing their properties” says Paul Dudley Smith, head of Building, Design and Surveying at Aitchison Raffety. “By having our own fully trained energy assessors we are able to keep down costs and pass these savings on to our clients.”

Since 1st October 2008 Energy Performance Certificates have been mandatory for landlords selling or letting commercial properties or for tenants assigning leases or subletting space.

The new energy assessment department is based at Aitchison Raffety’s Milton Keynes office and can provide energy performance assessments throughout Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire and in the Greater London area.
